The Clearfield County Charitable Foundation (CCCF) awarded the DuBois Area Historical Society $400 to build shelving to store large books, manuscripts and maps.

The grant from CCCF is helping with the cost of purchasing materials to build the shelving, with the historical society providing the rest of the money. Walter Kosiba, assistant curator, is doing the construction. The new oak shelving will help with the storage and preservation of the many large books and maps owned by the Society.
