•In 2020 when the Family History Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints closed in Ridgway, PA, the DuBois Area Historical Society inherited the Center’s collection of nearly 200,000 microfiche and microfiche readers.  The fiche include records of birth, death, and marriage from all over the world arranged by country, or (in the case of the United States) by time period.  Some records are also on microfilm; readers are available.

The archive is maintained by volunteers who are glad to help those needing assistance.
