Gun Raffle To Benefit Historical Society

     The DuBois Area Historical Society in partnership with a Colorado-based firearms business Rocky Mountain Firearms is selling chances to win a DuBois Sesquicentennial commemorative rifle.

     The commemorative rifles are a Henry Golden Boy, and a Henry Big Boy. The .22-caliber Henry Golden Boy has a brass finished receiver and octagon barrel. Only 15 of this model will be available, selling for $995. The Henry Big Boy is a large-bore rifle with an octagon barrel available in 357, 44, or 45-caliber. It sells for $1,595.

     Each of the rifles has local engravings of:  B & S Shaft #1 mine, BR&P Depot, DuBois Brewery, Sesquicentennial logo, DuBois Mansion, banner of the Great Fire of 1888, Van Tassel Tannery, and DuBois Area Historical Society logo.

     Chances on these collectable firearms are $10. Must be 18 or older to purchase a chance. The winners are responsible for completing the background check and for any additional fees.
