Leah Kirstein of WTAJ-TV News interviewed DuBois Area Historical Society Historian Todd Thompson about the DuBois Great Fire of 1888. The interview was conducted in the DuBois Area Historical Society near the Society’s fire department displays and the brick wall, which survived the Great Fire. Thompson explained the events of the fire and the formation of DuBois’ fire departments. The TV interview was featured during Firemen’s Week, June 10-15, in DuBois.
