Luigi’s Ristorante will host a “Dining for a Cause” for the DuBois Area Historical Society on Sunday, March 11, from noon until 8 p.m. Luigi’s will provide a percentage of the day’s profits to the DuBois Area Historical Society.

Members of the DuBois Area Historical Society will be at the restaurant throughout the day to provide information about the organization. They will also be conducting a Chinese auction, anticipating that nearly a dozen items will be available.

All are invited to experience fine dining and help support a local organization.

The DuBois Area Historical Society is celebrating its 30th Anniversary during 2012. Upcoming programs include:

April 26: Galen Kilmer, “DuBois Area High School Local History Projects,” 7 p.m., E. D. Reitz Museum, 30 W. Long Ave., DuBois.

May 5: DuBois Area Historical Society 4th Annual Spring Walk at Rumbarger Cemetery, 10 a.m. Meet at DuBois Regional Medical Center to begin the walk. Further information will be announced as the date arrives.

Both of these activities are free and open to the public. Planning is also underway for the 5th Annual Spirit of DuBois Lantern Walk for a date to be announced in October.
