The DuBois Area Historical Society “Dining for a Cause” event with Luigi’s Ristorante was quite successful. At the end of the day, Lugi’s presented the Society with a check for $451, a percentage of the day’s profits. Additional money was earned through a basket raffle. The total for the day was a little over $600.

The winners of the items were:

$30 Giant Eagle Gift Card — Donna Wells.

            Hospitality basket — Grace Griffith.

            Bath basket — Carolyn Rhoades.

Pittsburgh Penguin blanket — Silvia Wenden.

“The Society is very pleased with the community support for the “Dining for a Cause’ programs,” said Tom Schott, second vice president and chair of fund raising. “Currently there are two additional restaurant programs scheduled with Italian Oven, later this year, and we hope people will continue to support our cause and dine at these fine restaurants.
