Historical Calendar: Things Gone But Not Forgotten

           The 2014 DuBois Area Historical Society Calendar is now available for purchase. The Society’s seventh calendar costs $5 and has as its theme:  “Gone But Not Forgotten.”

            The calendar features photos from around the area of places or things that are no longer there. Areas featured include:  DuBois, Sandy Township, Luthersburg, Falls Creek, Rockton, Treasure Lake, Penfield, and Helvetia.

            Sponsors for the calendar include:  Blue Dolphin Painting, DuBois Area Catholic Schools, DuBois Business College, The Fridley Family, Hallstrom-Clark Electric Inc., Hardware Specialties Company, Hayes Lubrication, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union No. 5, Kiwanis Club of DuBois, Kohlhepp’s True Value, Peaceable Kingdom, Treasure Lake, and Willar’s Market.

            Calendars are available at the DuBois Area Historical Society, 28-34 W. Long Ave., DuBois, and at Curves, Kohlhepp's True Value, Peaceable Kingdom, Rosies Book Shoppe, and Way Office Supply, all in DuBois.
